357 Sig fan here. Thats my ECD. I also have a few 40s as well.

Great expansion of the rounds, great penetration, oh, and velocity too.

Again, just my opinion.

Depending on the usages, I use a 45ACP (Les Baer Custom)for home protection, I carry a .40 (Sig P229)if I go somewhere full with pests or perps. For just plain fun and home defense backup, I use a 9mm (Sig P226). That's most of the handguns I own. I also have two Browning Hi Power both 9mm in case of emergency. I wish I still have the 357 Mag I had but I traded it with something I wanted more.

My favorites to shoot is the 9mm. The 45acp is a close second.

im a 1911 lover at the range, but inside the home or in the field, i prefer the 9mm, id take 17 rounds of 9mm over 8 rounds of .45,
