I used to carry a Bersa .380 as a daily backup for a 1911 Government Model or FNP9 depending on what my clothing for the day permitted.

Of course, that was before my tragic boating accident in which I lost all my firearms.

Now I carry a shinny whistle with a really hard pea inside of it. In case of trouble, I just blow that and wait for others to help me.

    I started out with a Taurus 445 - 2" barrel, bobbed hammer.

For quite some time now I've carried a Colt Combat Elite in a Front Line vertical shoulder holster.

Since Christmas I've started occasionally carrying my new FNH Five-seveN.

The 1911 is still my favorite.

Pics are in my Photo Album if anyone's interested.

I don't have an EDC. I really really like guns, and have a respectable collection.

That said, I carry what I feel like that day. It makes a difference on how I am dressed, ie: sweater, jacket, shorts, t-shirt, etc, BUT I switch around a lot. Have been carrying for over 40 years, and feel comfortable carrying a revolver, or a 1911. I will carry a 3" N, or K frame Smith, a 1911 3", or 4", or just a pocket gun if that is all that I can conceal. That way I get to enjoy my guns more. Even with all the above I will say that the gun that I carry the most is a 3" S&W 65.

    Best Wishes,
    Tom
