LOL, you cannot see it in the pic, but on the single point sling I attached a a nice little pouch that can hold my spare batteries(for the aimpoint, the laser). Before I responded to this thread, I was searching all over the net for this photshop edited pic of some at with things like a egg beater, and other crazy things, looked like a Swiss Army knife.

Just bought a new stag model 2. Wanted some opinions on how I should set it up. Thanks

    1. Learn to shoot it.

    2. Then decide how you want to pimp it out based upon your skill and what you want to do with it.

    Don't worry about #2 until after you've done #1.

If you are after a long range shooter you'll put a long range scope on it. If you want a short range shooter with quick target acquisition, you'll put an eotech on it. Lots of options many of which are mutually exclusive.

This rifle has been a work in progress for the past 4-5 years, Its changed slightly but I dont see any other major changes with the exception of adding a suppressor and an ACOG some day down the road.
I love the Mid length system. You gain sight radius, real estate on the forend and the recoil pulse from the rifle feels milder.
Ive been very happy with the accuracy and reliability of this rifle. Balance and weight are right on for me and this has been my Go to rifle now for the past 3-4 years.

Same rifle in all these pics this just shows its evolution.
