Just after Pop Guns opend their range I shot on a league there, and a retired LEO from TEXAS had a tricked out 1911it was a Kimber or Wilson Combat just can't remeber. But I do rember the slide felt like it was on ball bearings, it was sooooo smooth! Guy said he had about 5 G's in it, and he could shoot too He won that night!
Haven't shot that many. But so far, and I highly doubt that I will ever find anything better, is a toss up. Either my glock 21 or glock 19. Can't be anything better out there
I had a Springfield 1911 that was tricked out by the guy I bought it from. I could spell my name at 25 yards with that gun. Something about that particular gun just connected with every point on me from my hand to arm to shoulder to torso. I can't explain it. Broke my heart to sell that gun but I was at a low point of guns or food. Luckily I know the guy I sold it to and he still has it. Once I get the cash together I'm going to try to buy it back.
Ruger Single Six. Not the flashiest, fastest, most powerful, or most expensive. But it was my dad's and the first handgun I ever shot. After that I was hooked. By the way, I still have the Ruger and shoot it very often.
