I wouldn't trade the barrel out of any 1911 for a complete Glock. Except for maybe a glock 36. That was the only half way acceptable attempt Glock made in building a hand gun. .45, single stack,............ and that's about it. Maybe one day they will figure it out.

Hum.. I would think less about guns and more about going to the doctor, that just does not look healthy :)

You know the Glock lovers are gonna flame ya.

I prefer the 1911 platform but I have all the .45acp Glock models as well. Some say the Glock 21 grip is too big (not me), but I guess it just depends on what you're use to holding in your hand.

Folks honestly I meant this in fun. Yes I just got rid of my Kimber as I am layed off and needed some extra money........... otherwise I would still have it. It was a beautiful pistol and hopefully one of these days I can replace it with another good one ;)

Hope you get back on your feet and back into a 1911 asap. Good luck to you.

I thought it was funny :dunno: Some people seem kinda angry about this. Personally I'd like a 1911 but .45 is expensive for me. Glocks on the other hand just seem too clumsy to me. Oh well. Maybe I'll get flamed too
