Mostly I carried my S&W Mod. 66 with 2 1/2" bbl., but lately I've been carrying my original S&W Mod. of 1917. I open carried it in an el cheapo Uncle Mike's vertical shoulder holster yesterday & it felt pretty good. I've not carried a self-shucker in many years, but it I did pack a self-shucker, it would be a 1911A1.

    I carry a Smith & Wesson M&P .40 w/gold JHP.

Since I live in Lake County now, I gotta have the bling with the Gold Tips. It's either that or gold teeth!:dunno:

I know it looks dirty. It's because I fired 300 rounds through it yesterday, no jams or misfeeds. Anyways, I haven't cleaned it yet.

But, I am going to the Valpo Gun Show this weekend and I am hoping to find a good deal on a Kimber Tactical Pro II for carry purposes. If I can't find one there, I am heading to Cabelas afterwards to pick one up.
Don't get me wrong, the M&P is great! But, not for concealed carry.:rockwoot:

Until today, I was carrying the M&P .40. Now, I am carrying a Kimber 1911 Tactical Pro II, 45 ACP. I love this gun and can't wait to take it for a test drive next weekend.

Used to carry a Glock 19 but retired it to the gun safe do to reliability issues. Used to carry a USP .40 but it's too big with the TLR-2 on it. Tried carrying my Taurus .38 but didn't find it comfortable.

Momma carries an AMT backup in .380

I agree with you - shoot that thing a dozen times and your finger starts to cramp!!! She likes it for that reason - hard to shoot = hard to accidently shoot...

I usually am carrying a 1911. A Makarov gets dropped in from time to time when I can't carry the 1911. I've been known to carry a .357 snubbie too.
