Nice, I like it. Maybe I should look for a cheap 19 to do this to.

Yeah, I guess I was feeling gutsy that day. I just bought a G27 mag and used it and some pictures out of magazines as a template to work off. I took it slow.

The only tools I used was a hacksaw, soldering iron (to shape down some of the cuts), a file and sand paper.

It has a nice balance. The longer slide takes up some of the flip from "hot" loads and the shorter grip really aids in concealment.

Yea, I would have to work up to cutting on my grip. It's a good idea though, I thought about it when I was looking at a 26. It's the best of both worlds.

I'm pretty much done buying Glocks unless and until they bring out a compact single-stack 9mm/.40 to compete with the Kahr P9/40, or a full-size single-stack .45ACP.

    Or a carbine. :lmfao:

Back in '95/'96 I got a 26 in a trade and sold it immediately as I never wanted it to start with. Never been a fan, but don't criticize them as they are functional and durable. I prefer the XDs. I made-out quite well on the sale as I sold it to a guy in California (through an FFL) and got $600 + S&H for it. He said he was thrilled with the deal and even his FFL was impressed. :dunno:
