If I or someone of my passing wanted a correct piece to reinstall it as a collectible, not a shooter, this may add to the value/pleasure (in my head at least).I'm going to be "that guy" for just a second, and ask an earnest question.
If that trigger was so substandard, so egregious in its misperformance, why would you keep it.
Are some of the bagged parts still useful in other applications? Or, since the totality of those parts was marginal, would you just be spreading the virus wherever you used them?
I save takeoffs, but if it's trash I trash it.
This part can be modified, but I just dropped in a tapco trigger and it works just fine. I'm a collector that shoots.
I will always refer to my 1942 Garand wanting it to be correct. Only needed a correct op rod to make it so. Feel better now.
