Pistol varies depending on circumstances from nothing at work (we have metal detectors so no fooling it) up to a G22 OWB, most often a CM9 IWB. I carry a light only if I expect to be out after dark. Small, folding Gerber on my keychain.

A big part of the reason I can go so light is that I'm almost never more than 2 or 3 miles from home. If I go into Indy or something, I'll bring more.

My EDC consists of: Kahr PM9 (usually on my strong side hip), spare magazine (hidden in a Gerber multi-tool holster) on Left side of belt, Spyderco knife in front right pocket, streamlight Pro weak side rear pocket, cash (usually very little), flash drive, fingernail clippers, partial soapstone (used for work), 2 cell phones (1 flip for work, and my personal Android) and wallet.

I'm surprised at the number of people that carry flashlights, I didnt know it was that common of a practice. Thanks for all the responses so far!
At night, a flashlight is MORE important than a gun, IMO. You can't even run away if you can't see where you're going, much less shoot well and safely. I've heard it said that a lot of the deaths in the Twin Towers were because people couldn't see well enough to escape quickly in the smoke once the lights went out.

If you carry a gun, you should be carrying a light (or more than one).

If you don't carry a gun, you should be carrying a light.
