It comes with a keychain loop as well as the clip and takes 1 AAA battery. 3 brightness modes and 3 flashing modes. I have have it for almost a year now and have not had to change the battery. Don't use it a ton though. Just keep it on my keys and it double as a lanyard pull as well.
