    I'm still a lil confused by the pat. dates on the barrel -lol MAY -30 1911. But you are close 1906 to 1907 by the serial number ,i also thought the 22LR was after 1919 .

    It might be just .22Long. I have one built in 1912 or 1913 and it is just .22 Long, NOT LR.

    Mine starts with 243XXX. On a work laptop and it won't let me into the Winchester Dates site. Mine must be older than I thought???:dunno:

    Each model 1890 would only shoot the shell made for that gun.
