Got my last two blades a week or two ago now, but my RAT Cutlery RAT Pack knife (RC-3) and my Busse Bushwacker Mistress have both arrived now. Wicked blades, BWM is awesome.

I know I got either a SOG Trident folder or a Spyderco Endura:) but I have to wait till I get off work tonight to see which one it is. What did you get?

I got a Browning fixed blade FDX1 684, it is one heavy SOB for a new knife. I handled one when we off'ed the roosters we didn't mean to get earlier this year and liked it so much wifey bought it for me.

Kr_treefrog2 got this knife from her grandfather. It's an old Russell 'Boat knife.' Made in Canada. He's had it for 20+ years in a drawer. From the looks of it, it has some history of use. However, the blade is still reasonably sharp!

I got a new Kershaw Zing from my Dad. Nice sturdy knife. I really like the the way it fits in my hand. The "flipper" opening mechanism took a little getting used to. I didn't realize that you had to assist the flipper with a flick of the wrist as well when I first got it. Nice EDC.

That is a sweet looking knife!

Do the ridges affect slicing or sharpening at all?
