Mine is a Taurus 1911 45 in a Leather outside the Belt Holster and Mark R is correct it's heavy. I switch sometimes to my 1911 9mm Radom and it feels lighter.

Springfield Lightweight Champion Operator or Kimber Stainless Gold Match, usually in a BladeTech IWB. The kimber is a little heavier but not bad. Now for heavy, it's a CZ97B in a UBG scabbord style holster. Carrys great but not as concealable as the IWB holster. Othewrwise it's a High Power in a modified Raven Concealment IWB. With a 15 rd. mag, the HP is probably heavier than the Kimber but is still very comfortable for all day carry. Wear a good stiff belt, it distributes the load better.
