    I was listening to sports talk radio this morning... I think it was Gio and Jones. They spent a few minutes on the subject of this kid and his watch. And, apparently, the head of NCAA Officiating has said that it was not against any of the rules.

    So...there you go.

    Doesn't mean they won't investigate to make sure it wasn't a "signing bonus".

    How is this allowed in College Football? Que what is up with this guy?

    He had a reason for wearing that particular watch for that game, but I won't post his business. We got a call from an irate "taxpayer" who believed he should be expelled for using HIS money to buy expensive watches. It's a plastic watch and was approved because it's not a safety hazard.
