    Bingo.

The OP offered to comply with the only factor within their control, his presence on their property.

He was at liberty to accept or decline any other requests made of him and did so politely during their conversation.

There are a few here who do not seem to understand this important distinction, but thankfully, those who were present and involved did and welcomed him to stay. :yesway:

    Bingo !!

Their request was similar to them asking me to wear pink slippers. I have the option to accept or decline their request. If my shopping experience is conditioned upon wearing the requested slippers, I'll politely leave.

Same thing with them requesting that I "untuck my shirt"
Regardless what the shirt untucking would have further covered, I wanted my short tucked in.so I left it tucked in. Plain and simple.

Some folks would have gladly put on the pink slippers after being requested to do so. To them, I'll simply say "sissies" :D.

I certainly can't argue with that point.

I'm building a pink AR for my wife (at her request, of course).. since it'll be the first AR of the family, I'll be shooting the crap out of a pink one :D

Well handled Sir and nothing wrong with pink. I also put together a pink AR for the wife and her M&P has a pink backstrap. At least they were civil about it, some places are not!

This smells like a social experiment. I wonder if we could convince mgmt at Meijer or somewhere to let us tell folks to wear those goofy shoe covers you see service people wear when coming in to work on your furnace or whatever. Station teams at each entrance and ask everyone to put them on and see how we do.

I'd be willing to bet most people would comply without asking questions lol
