    Where's the bacon?
    Wash or worsh?

    Laundry. :D

ETA: And a sweetened, carbonated beverage is a coke, no matter what the outside of the can or everyone else around you says.

A pop is what you give your kid across the backside when s/he deserves it. ;) (though that could fairly be called a whoopin', too.)

    Blessings,
    Bill

i'm originally from Missouri so it was warsh zink and crick. In college I finally put a stake in the heart of my southernisms... So I move to northern Indiana and get to hear it all over again from so many. And what is it with people up here sayiing "supposeBly" instead of supposeDly ?

It's Indiana....it is warsh. I lived in Wisconsin for several years and we drank "soda" not "pop". Saying pop will get you looked at funny up there.

QFT! It took me a long time after moving up here to learn that when I told someone to grab me a Coke while they were out, they would bring me a Coke. They wouldn't ask what kind of Coke I wanted. They would just bring me some Coca Cola. I learned my lesson finally.

Oh and although I do not say warsh, I DO say torlet instead of toilet. That's a constant source of entertainment in my house.
