Not really expanding my collection as much now, but I did pick up a S&W pre-27, nickle, w/a 3 1/2" barrel. I think one of the best revolvers ever made. I also got a GSG 1911 .22. I really like this .22. Shot a friends, & decided I really "needed" one.
2013 was a great year for my collection... since it didn't exist before this year. Purchased my first handgun, a SCCY CPX-2, back in February. Then in September, I bought a S&W M&P 9mm. I think 2014 will be the year of the rifle... or possibly the shotgun... or both...
I went from 2 to 9 and in the process my wife went from 1 to 3. Though she says i'm cut off for the next year but ammo still calls my name. Would love to get my ad sold before new years though. Sure semi auto rifles are fun and all, but aside from not being in the service anymore and having to worry about money it gets quite expensive to shoot. Rather stick to my bolt actions and 22's and keep feeding my pistols cause one day when I can find the time and spot plan on getting into reloading.
Bought one gun this year. Would have bought more, if ammo wasn't so high.
Where I live, I have seen gun prices go up $25 in a month period on the same gun.
I am going to wait until prices level off, or go down.
Buying guns should be fun, not leave you with the feeling you have been ripped off.

At the beginning of this year I promised not to sell any more guns and keep what I have. It's been great for the gun collection but not so good for my bank account . I did trade one gun that I disliked for one that I really like though. Plus I have some cash set back to buy another handgun
Been a good year for me. I got a W. German Sig P220 off a member on here to add to my W. German Sig collection. All I need now is a W. German P228 and I'll have my own trifecta (goes along with the P226 and P220)! That's on tap for 2014 if one ever pops up at a decent price.
Yea, good year. I dropped my # by 3 but added 2 high quality 1911s, a Model 12 in 28 ga with beautiful, make that super beautiful wood, and a mint model 19 Smith. I also was "willed" a large stash of mil-surp ammo by a friend's wife. May he RIP.
Got rid of an AR, picked up a Ruger GSR and Springfield Armory LW Operator. Got two AR builds going right now. Looking to pick up an HK USP. So, in short, a pretty good year
