'Tis the season, huh? I found one in the weeping cherry tree, near the corner of my garage, about 5 1/2 feet off the ground. I tried getting a picture but there are too many branches in the way.
Ok I don't know why the pic is sideways, but check this out on the side of my neighbor garage. We have three that we have found so far this year around the house. Hopefully this isn't bad news for the upcoming winter but that's what I have heard.
R/C hellicopter, run it into the nest. They're durable, so no worries. Mount a GoPro to the bottom so we can watch the adventure. Best part? You can do it from the safety of inside.
Step 1: Capture hummingbirds in garage.
Step 2: Tell humming birds that the hornets are the cause of all their problems.
Step 3: Talk to humming birds about martyrdom.
Step 4: Convince humming birds that a paradise of virgin fields of flowers awaits them.
Step 5: Glue M80's to bottom of hummingbirds.
Step 6: Light M80 and send them to destroy the infidel hornets.
