Walking stick/hiking staff

walk softly and carry a big stick and if somebody messes with you do a babe ruth on them.

I'm less mobile than most of you so I almost always have a solid oak sorting cane with me. It's good for walking and close social work but it's GREAT for getting up off the ground if I fall. A staff under many circumstances would probably be even better (Think Quarterstaff i.e. Robin Hood).
