Cabelas in Hammond is also a great place to find some deals on guns. The guys there are easy to deal with.

Low pressure, prices, and just knowing if something isn't right, they will bust their butt making it right are what's important to me.

I just about always know what I want before I walk into a shop and don't want to be told I would be better off with something else. I have absolutely no issues with laying money down and having something ordered or occasionally even being placed on a "want " list.

My favorite's in the Fort based on the above...

1) Ranger Supply... Prices will compete with anybody... prices are even better if he doesn't have it in stock and has to order, assuming you pay in full. Have 100% confidence if something isn't right, Russ would take care of you.

2) D.T.O.M. Enterprises... Going to give Ranger some competition. Owner will simply bust his butt getting you what you want at a unbelievable price. Like Ranger, he recognizes I know what I want and doesn't try talking me into something that might be easier for him to get or already has in stock.

3) Tomlinson's in Busco... Good selection of reloading supplies, great prices and extremely helpful service. Good selection of guns also. Have been told they are more than happy to order anything I want, just haven't taken them up on the offer yet.
