    Can you elaborate on this, please? I don't know anyone who owns a magnifier, so I'm looking for feedback on them.

    The eye relief is generally bad, and a lot of dots "star" when you put a magnifier behind them. Aimpoints don't, the Burris I tried didn't, but other brands star and distort under a magnifier. They are generally bulky, take up too much space, and expensive.

    Most times the cost of a magnifier is as much as a solid variable power scope, added with the cost of a red dot, you could get a solid 1-4 or a 1-6 optic and a good mount
