    I see a fair trade here: It is his right to show contempt for the flag which symbolizes our nation and it is our right to recognize him as the waste of space he is for this among other reasons.

    This is cell phone footage. The actual camera for the shoot is in front of him. They just were sloppy with the stagecraft. He wanted the flag to drop to reveal the people behind him and they didn't think about things too much. I'm not saying it's acceptable, they should have rigged something to pull the flag out after it dropped, but probably too much chronic.

    I watched the video and didn't see any stomping, but I see where the flag was used inappropriately. It looked like he was making a video and was simply walking in a certain space. Should the flag have been used? No. But, let's not make something what it is not.


    I agree with Que on this one. This does not appear to be intentional political speech, it's just a crappy hip hop video with incidentally poor handling of the flag.
