Valentine one radar detector???

I told a guy at work that I have a radar detector, but didn't intentionally speed. He told me that the only reason to own one was to evade the law. He believed that radar detectors should be outlawed. He also told me I was a liar when I told him that I just wanted to know when I was being watched and where a LEO might be. So now I'm a criminal and a liar........ nice guy.
