Also, in my mission to improve the stats n' scores, I've acquired a router that'll cover the back bays (if just barely). Which means semi-live scoring should be a go for this match. After each stage, interim results will get posted on practiscore.com so you can see how things are shaping up as the match progresses.

Will that enable me to pick up youporn on my phone? I'm fairly new at this technology stuff....

This will be my first ever USPSA event. I am looking forward to it!!

I plan to attend and it will be my first match of any type. Yes, I'm terrified but excited too.

So that I can budget for this, can anyone comment on the typical time commitment?

    Thanks!

    New Shooters Meeting at 9:30am
First Shoots Fired usually at 10:00am
    Match ends around 3:00pm

If you get there around 8:00am you can help set up and get a lot of time to walk through and look over the stages. They ask that you stay after your done shooting and help tear down the last stage you shot. Usually each squad has 10-15 shooters so tearing down a stage only take 5-10 minutes.

No reason to be terrified!! As long as you are safe handling your pistol you will be fine. There will be a new shooter briefing at 9:30 to let you know what is expected
