Updated US passports

Now BBI, you know I'm Blue ID Mafia. The proper response would be comments about parking my 1977 Lincoln Town Car in 6 parking spots, wearing socks with sandals and a shirt with epaulets, and writing a check for the exact amount while buying one tangerine.

Homestly, I would like a 1977 TC.

I have one of the new ones. Just used it for a trip to London. Unfortunately I didn't get a stamp at Heathrow. They just scan the passport and let you waltz right in. We never even spoke to a real person when we arrived.

It seems most don't bother with stamps anymore. They scan your biometrics and already have everything in the system anyway.

Australia is the same way. I was bummed I didn't get a cool kangaroo stamp.

How was the trip and what did you do? We've been kicking around the idea of going, we have the miles to fly in the off season if we want.

I just wish there were ways to transfer 10-year visas from a prior passport book to a new passport book. I guess carrying around two passport books isn't the end of the world, but it's something I'm going to have to start doing in the near-ish future.
