    I have one of the new ones. Just used it for a trip to London. Unfortunately I didn't get a stamp at Heathrow. They just scan the passport and let you waltz right in. We never even spoke to a real person when we arrived.

    It seems most don't bother with stamps anymore. They scan your biometrics and already have everything in the system anyway.

    Australia is the same way. I was bummed I didn't get a cool kangaroo stamp.

    I just wish there were ways to transfer 10-year visas from a prior passport book to a new passport book. I guess carrying around two passport books isn't the end of the world, but it's something I'm going to have to start doing in the near-ish future.
