Universal (non)Religious Argument Thread

Others just go into every thread with a pro-Christian slant, and cause as much trouble as they can until it's locked, and then say the threads are obviously too much trouble for the mods. I figure Christian posts will be banned. I also figure atheist posts, and those denigrating Christianity, will be allowed.

But I hope not. These people are just making it bad for everyone. They are taking it way outta proportion. There's nothing wrong with talking about religion. But bashing one another, their acting like kids.

I blame both sides of the fence......... I am a consevative christian though and some of the pro christian post's have sadend me........

Im sure some are just trying to cause problems from both sides of the fence......

In order for those with strong religious and strong non-religious beliefs to have a place to duke it out and not derail perfectly good threads, I have created this thread as a place to take your perfectly good religious arguments.

For the Record... I'm religious and Christian, but I'm not as well versed in religion as some here are. Maybe I, along with others, can learn something with this thread, as well as keep other threads on track.

Well the thread sure didn't turn out like I thought it would, but oh well. I don't want to see anything get banned. I just want people to take the religious arguments out of perfectly good threads. That's all.

Joe, I'm a Christian yet even I don't want to read about it on INGO, my faith is just that MINE, just as yours is yours, and everybody else has their version too.

He is a great guy he has offered some great classes to INGO members and normally has good advice. Does that mean I enjoyed reading about how I am a sinner because I look at porn? NO!!

I smoke too and the last thing I want is for somebody to tell me every time I light up how dangerous it is or how bad it is for me.

I see you POV on a lot of post you have had in the past and agree with you on many issues, please let this go. Stop taking things so personal it is the internet.

If it makes you realize it I will tell you Scutter01 is not yellow and VUPD is not 6'6 275 like I figured... This is the internet!!! You can NOT convert people's personal beliefs and in many cases it only makes the situation worse when you keep arguing about it.

Should religion be banned from INGO?? Maybe it's own subforum would be nice.

This all started over a guy who likes to stir the pot wanting to be able to say the F word, and another guy taking what should have been a post about a family spending a great spring day together enjoying the same hobby we all share and reading in to it.

Go look at some previous post from both of them, they have an ulterior motive both like to stir the pot.

For the record the word sin was never used, in fact the title was

"10 reasons Not to look at Porn" It was intended to aid those who struggle with looking/not looking at porn, as an encouragement. It was never intended to shove anything down anyone's throat, nor tell anyone they are going to hell. (as looking at porn isn't going to make you hell bound )

And for the record I got more PM's and reps for that thread than any other INGO Correspondence on here yet, so I know that I made a difference in some folks lives. It was completely worth it in my book.

I don't have any problems with christians in real life or the internet. that said I do tend to dislike the preachy christians in real life and especially the internet when they are obviously being preachy but try to disguise it as any but. I say preach all the jesus stuff you want but don't get offended when/if someone flames you for it.
