Anyone ever see the movie I am Legend? It was based upon the cure for cancer was a virus that was re-engineered. What could possibly go wrong?
The cure for HIV is still death at this point. Turning a virus like HIV or cancer off with gene therapy from my understanding means you still have the virus or condition just in an inactive state kind like Herpes?
Although it sounds promising I wonder if it simply opening Pandora's box
