Well the pre-req for being tough is talking tough
Wholeheartedly disagree with this. Many of the toughest people I’ve ever met have never had to warn anyone.

Andre Carson is in this group. What does that tell you?

I like Cruz in senate
There's a joke going around that if Ted Cruz were nominated for AG--or dog catcher for that matter--the Senate would confirm him unanimously and throw him a going away party without inviting him.
Where does Chris Christie fit into that spectrum? All the whining and fussing is coming out of folks that are the losers here. Press, libs, nevertrumpers, etc....

Granted, I haven't heard him directly whine yet. We all know its coming.

Anyone else think it's funny that the Democrats are rallying around calling someone an anti-Semite? The party that wants to abandon Israel and was going to smear Bernie cause he was a Jew?Jason
I've been saying that if he does get the SCOTUS nod, he will be the first one with 99 ayes. They might not even do the committee meetings and just put it straight to a floor vote.
Is there some purple you're missing?
Nope.
I think they would do anything to get rid of his fauxlibusters.
Cruz won't accept a SCOTUS appointment. He wants to be president at some point.
If he's nominated, and I doubt he will be, we may have to make a wager on this one. Cruz has the Pro-Life and Gay Marriage issues that would most certainly prevent him from getting 99 Senate votes.
