Agreed. I'm using tax $$ to get my house painted this year. I painted every room in my last house. Not this time!

Yeah, I did the same thing. My wife kept telling me "you will never have to paint again" when I finished. Now we have the house that will be our retirement house, along with our house in Indiana. The goal is to have it move in ready in 3 years. The problem is, we have 2 houses, so we have to watch our pennies.
