Good question. If you pre-ordered one of these you already paid for it so my guess is they will just refund everyone their money.

Your guess is wrong. I just called the store where I got mine, acted anomomously, and was told that if I had one ordered, and paid for, I would get it.

I would HOPE that is what they would do, especially since the people that ordered already paid, but that doesn't mean they will, they were so quick to fold I wouldn't be surprised at all if they back out of that.

Its OK, those of us here at understand. You're dealing with the remorse of cancelling your order, and spending $300 more for a basic(BUT REALLY NICE) carbine. In your state of denial, you've convinced yourself that Dicks will back out of their commitment. Its OK, understands. If you need to talk, is here for you.

A friend of mine has a Troy on order, and said yesterday he received an email informing him his backorder has been cancelled and the he'd receive a refund and an additional Dick's gift certificate.
