    So, the kids are climbing on a state-owned vehicle and they are using it to transport a possibly-vermin-infested mattress?

    Interesting use of state property!

    One might think that if the picture were to find it's way to the local DOT office that it might start some rather, interesting conversations.

    Yes it would and it might let the "Perps" know who took it. If willing to have a face off send it. If not stand by and hope they hang themselves.

    Ingo party sounds good. :rockwoot::rockwoot:

    I will say I went to war with a neighbor of mine once at my last house. It did not end well let me summarize with one of my dogs got shot, he sued me, Brown county sheriffs knowing me on a first name basis " yes all three shifts that patrolled my area". If there is a way, even if not an easy one to not war with neighbors I would recommend it.

    Never thought about it that way. Glad I have decent neighbors and don't have to think about it.

    They may come off as stupid but even idiots will retaliate. We have had several run ins with bad neighbors. Never got shot at but threatened, never got hit but they tried. Never had anything vandalized but we caught a few stealing.
    We owned a lot of rentals in our area so it was well known not to mess around. Renters have stepped up when idiots got restless.

    Summery....most neighbors are good enough and will help when asked. Just enough A$$hats out there to spoil the party if you let them.

    Take a shot at us (dog getting shot remark) and it is not going to go well for you.

    Send the pic to indot or he governors office and ask why they are climbing on state property and transporting their personal furnature in a state vehicle.

    It's not the kids fault because obviously they have **** parents. I would be knocking on their door all the time if that's what it took.

    Little crumb snatchers ran like roaches.

    I of course was concerned with the safety and well being of the kids. Like has been said a few times in this thread, it's not their fault that their parents don't watch them. After showing the officer the highlights of my photo album, he went over to check on them, I went inside and called it a night. On one hand this opens me up for retaliation, but on the other, the kids didn't end up taking a header off of the garage.

    You need a license to drive...permits to fish/hunt....LTCH....but to reproduce, the most important function we have...na-da...nothing...zip, zilch zero.

    :ugh:

    All I can say is WTF? I've had a war with the neighbor's kids before, because I got them in trouble with their parents for playing baseball in the street and bouncing a ball off of my wife's car. Needless to say that wasn't the last thing that hit our cars or the house we were renting. I never caught them doing it, but I have no doubt is was the heathens. I hope your ordeal works out better than mine.
