Trash Control?

I have never lived in an area that offers leaf pickup. What is the argument for having the government do that?

Less plastic bags in the landfill if they suck them up directly into a truck I guess. I just mulch mine up with the mower.

Aaaaannnnd it's here... I already have more yard debris than will fit in the can, so I guess I'll have a choice to make come trash day.

Have you read through some of the criteria for that to apply? It's worse then FHA, and I got a conventional

It IS a FHA loan. I did one on the home I'm living in now, my son just started the process on a home. Not hard at all.

AAR: Well, we survived our first week with the blue monstrosity. It took some packing down, and burning of what would burn, but I managed to fit our trash plus 3 bags of yard debris into the can with the lid left slightly open. Nothing fell out. Still may look into getting a second can to have for heavy yard cleanup weeks.

Do you not have a biosolid refuse facility?

Here in Allen Co. it cost $1 per huge truck load to drop off yard waste - leaves, grass, branches; just no roots. The stuff is then composted or mulched and returned to service instead of filling up a landfill and generating methane anaerobically.




An easy way to not have to complain about the gov't is not to depend on them.
