Trace Adkins last night.

Was at the Elkhart County fair last night and had track seats to Trace. If you haven't seen him in concert you need to go. He played his big hits and some new songs of his along with some covers. His new song "Whoop A Man’s Ass" is really good. Tonight is Easton Corbin, and tomorrow The Band Perry (track seats to those also.) And this Sunday Keith Urban and Jake Owen in Ft. Wayne. Summer rocks for concerts.

I'm not much into country, but I have seen Keith Urban and Jake Owen, and really enjoyed them both. I saw Owen at the Ryman auditorium.

I don't know much about Trace except for a couple of his tunes. I thought he would be bigger act than an Elkhart fair. Same for Keith Urban. Aren't these guys big time Country stars?

Well Keith Urban is palying at the coliseum (sp?) And the Elkhart County fair is one of the largest in the nation.

Edit: Yes big country stars. REO has played their along with Foreigner one year, Brad Paisley, Styx, .38 Special, and many more. It's a pretty good venue for the price.

I was there last night. It was almost impossible to find seats but found some after 45 minutes of looking. The show was the best I've seen there yet.

Over 11000 were at the concert last night.

Elkhart County 4H Fair is definitely one of the 3 largest county fairs in the US. Depending on how sources count the attendance some have rated it the largest.
It is the third largest event in Indiana beaten only by the Indy 500 and the State Fair.
9 Day fair that draws some of the top country and rock stars.
I was on the board of directors for 15 years.
