I never thought I'd see references to prepping in Dilbert. It says something about the current conditions, doesn't it.

Our local Dollar Tree has a large sign advertising "Emergency supplies" like bottled water, canned goods etc. Truly a strange thing to see in a store that is usually concerned with selling me a pack of cheap playing cards....

I saw them listed somewhere as a store that carries non-refrigerated milk.

Yeah, looks like everyone is into prepping now. I need to get a "I was Prepping before Prepping was cool" T-shirt. :rockwoot:

What's next, Costco selling pallets of freeze dried food? Wal Mart selling #10 cans of hard red wheat? Non-Mormons outnumbering the Mormons at their food warehouse? :D

It also makes a good point that maybe you shouldn't be advertising your stash in public. Talking about it in a semi-anonymous forum with like-minded people is one thing, but it can also draw unwanted attention in a SHTF situation.

So I should take down those signs in my front yard advertising what I currently have on hand for the zombie apocalypse?
