I think he meant real harm, not that imaginary kind.It doesn't have to be intentional. If a person causes harm wrecklessly or even accidentally, that person still bears some degree of responsibility for the harm done.

This is the most ludicrous line of thinking that has been expressed by some during this situation. Breathing is not causing harm of any kind. This line of thinking, criminalizing and placing liability on a normal human function is beyond all reason. The slippery slope here falls all the way to the bottom. It doesn't have to be intentional. If a person causes harm wrecklessly or even accidentally, that person still bears some degree of responsibility for the harm done.
There's been liability in a "normal human function" done in a manner that endangers others for a long time. Would you claim it's not a problem for someone to take a into your drinking water supply? Here’s the thing though, it’s a fact that masks do not stop respiratory aerosol droplets, they only stop spittle.wearing a mask to contain exhaled respiratory droplets is a rather unobtrusive mitigation effort for most people

Those "others" enjoy the presumption of innocence, which includes the presumption that they are not causing harm.If a person is in a place where he has a right to be, doing something he has a right to do, then he should have an expectation that others will take reasonable precautions to avoid causing him harm.
Again: prove the harm caused recklessly, much less, accidentally. It doesn't have to be intentional. If a person causes harm wrecklessly or even accidentally, that person still bears some degree of responsibility for the harm done.

Everyone should do their best to keep their germs to themselves. Staying physically distanced seems to work best. In situations where that's not feasible, wearing a mask to contain exhaled respiratory droplets is a rather unobtrusive mitigation effort for most people.

Do we as of yet even have any definitive metrics to work towards for lifting this mask nonsense?I'm one of those who knows that Americans sheepishly going along with wearing masks has been a huge mistake but I also know that the masks catch some of what sprays out of our faces, and some is better than nothing. Well, except for the fact that "just say no" is the only way that we could have prevented having our country destroyed. But that's all water under the bridge now and why anyone would want to argue over the efficacy of various masks and the ways people wear them... it's utterly irrelevant to today's problems.
nopeDo we as of yet even have any definitive metrics to work towards for lifting this mask nonsense?
Exactly, just arbitrary dates with no scientific rationale.nope
Last I'm hearing is fall, maybe next winter
I’ll ask again, since you continue to ignore my question. The flu is deadly to some. Did you wear a mask every flu season to prevent from harming others, or did you just recently begin to care?It doesn't have to be intentional. If a person causes harm wrecklessly or even accidentally, that person still bears some degree of responsibility for the harm done.

I think the better question would be "will you" not "did you"I’ll ask again, since you continue to ignore my question. The flu is deadly to some. Did you wear a mask every flu season to prevent from harming others, or did you just recently begin to care?
