A true day to reflect on the sacrifices of so many. Thanks to all the veterans that made this country what it is and to all those that are keeping it that way today.
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
of sun-split clouds, — and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of — wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there,
I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air....
Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue
I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace.
Where never lark, or even eagle flew —
And, while with silent, lifting mind I've trod
The high untrespassed sanctity of space,
- Put out my hand, and touched the face of God.
God Bless All, some didn't make it back, some came back physically but didn't quite make it otherwise, some returned and hide it very well...no matter what day it is, I thank all of you....3/11th Cav
Thank you to all of you. I will say that when I was in Hanoi in 1973 there were a few guys I helped bring home I wish I could have talked to them and tell them how things would turn out by them being a part of our Country's Government. Maybe things would have better today in 2013. I guess God keeps the future from us for a reason.

Thanks to all, those who returned and especially those who did not.
