around here it's funny. Most police departments carry Glocks, BUT Warsaw is the orthopedic capital of the World......so they carry Sig P226s in 40 S&W.

Xds 9mm all the way. I just recently got mine and love. Only other edc I'd consider would be a glock 43

Those sights look similar to the sights on my Sig Legion 229. I love the sights on my Legion.

Ordered sights today, decided against the Hackathorns.

I gotta stick with the factory trigger. I've worked over a few but can't do it on my issued gun and I value consistency above most everything when it comes to shooting. I appreciate the offer though.:)

Is it just me, or is there a good bit of variation within the range of 'factory' glock triggers? My experience is limited to my G20SF, my G22 (g4) an several 19s, 26s, 27s, and a such of friends, but NONE of them felt exactly the same even though they were all stock triggers. They are all very similar, but in smoothness, takeup, and especially overtravel, there was a lot of variation.

Which is probably why my BFF puts a ghost EVO in everything now.

Could be, I honestly don't pay that much attention. I've been very happy with the trigger in the Gen4 pistols however. I felt there was a pretty significant improvement over the Gen2 & Gen3 when we first got them.

I agree with that. The stock trigger on my g22g4 was the best stock Glock trigger I've ever shot. I do like that ghost Evo, but obviously that is no go for duty weapons.

I agree with the sight change. Unfortunately, Glocks come with the most abysmal sights (the plastic ones) from the factory. That is usually the first change/upgrade a Glock owner should do.

Nice choice! Thanks for the info on the PD allowed carries too. I don't know why, but I always find that sort of stuff interesting (even though it has zero relevance to me lol).

The first thing I've swapped out on every Glock I've owned is the slide release. For whatever reason, I struggle with the stock slide releases. The extended versions are stupid cheap and make a big difference for me.

Digging the new sights, I think I made a good decision with this setup. I didn't realize the white ring around the front was luminescent, I was very surprised at how bright it glowed after having the pistol out in the direct sunlight for a few minutes. It didn't last real long but better than nothing.

Last major piece of the puzzle showed up this afternoon, the Agency Arms magwell. I'm picking up a smooth trigger and extended slide stop and mag release later this week. Now just waiting for the holster, hopefully not too much longer.
