Picked my pm9 with night sights up new from the Midwest booth at the Indy 1500 in january for $569. As far as I could find that was about as close to "stealing" it as I could get. I've put 750 rds through it to date and have had ZERO Fail to whatevers. I did add a Hoge Handall Jr. slip over grip to it which made it more comfortable to shoot at the range.
Its a very accurate pistol packed into a very tight little package. As far as removing the slide stop I put the business end of a screwdriver against the table and press the slide stop down onto the plastic handle till it pops up then just pull it out.
