My wife is a very small older lady under 100 lbs and wants a small 22 LR revolver to carry and learn with and she doesn't want the "open trigger" style. I know of the S&W 632 and 317 but not of much else. She wants a short barrel and something we both could take out for fun. Any help would be appreciated.

There isn't a whole lot out there - most folks shooting 22LR are doing so for several reasons, but what you're aiming for isn't one of the typical mindsets. They're either going for the "smallest" firearm they can get (but it won't have a trigger guard, something you want) or they're looking for a training/plinking/etc firearm, which won't be a concealable firearm. There are somewhat more available smallish semi-auto 22s, but that doesn't help the revolver part..

Free bump, maybe some other revolver aficionados will see this..

The lasergrips are worth their weight in gold for defensive shooting. you can even hit the target without your glasses. :D
Change the batteries twice a year and they'll never be dead when you need the laser.:oldwise:
