Homosexual activity and also having several girlfriends while you are married makes one a "good family man" ?

At least Obama's great grand daddy wasn't a swinger...er, I mean polygamist. Wonder what type of values were passed down in that family. Just saying. :dunno:

If I remember correctly, Romney did not receive Federal bailouts. Bain Capital did. Long after he left and had no control over it.
Assuming that is all true, his policies are decidedly anti-capitalist. I didn't even bring up his signature state takeover of health care. Banning weapon sales is another slap in the face of free-markets.

He either doesn't understand capitalism, or rejects it.

By all accounts and definitions, he has demonstrated himself as a capitalist.
Except for the unavoidable fact that his governing policies are wrought with anti-capitalist positions.

Please direct me to one politician that hasn't compromised via means in some manner, to accomplish a perceived greater good. His very willingness to rise to the challenge and take the reigns of Governor of an ultra liberal state, demonstrates both leadership and and character.

Uncompromising cowardice by not facing difficult challenges, is more a character flaw.
If banning guns, raising taxes, and enacting socialist health care were acts of "compromise" forced on Governor Romney by liberals, then what did Romney get in return? It must have been something tremendous.

I think its a cop out. Being a giant pushover for special interests and socialists isn't an admirable quality in an executive. He had the power of veto, and instead signed his name. He can stand by his ultra-liberal decisions like a big boy.

Homosexual activity and also having several girlfriends while you are married makes one a "good family man" ?
So he is a sex-crazed bisexual? I haven't researched that conspiracy theory.

Romney wanted the health care plan in Massachusetts, so I'm guessing that is what he traded for. He saw mandated health care as a republican plan to propel him to the level of the White [STRIKE]Horse[/STRIKE] House. He claimed it was good for the nation and that it was a smart republican solution because it wasn't single payer like the dreams of Hillary Clinton.

Don't know why you are getting wrapped around the axle about either of the candidates' ancestors; we aren't voting for their ancestors, nor will we have to worry about their ancestors' attitudes and beliefs. We're faced with the consequences of electing one of these two guys and what THEIR policies and actions can be expected to be. We aren't going to find clues in their actions in their teens before they came to responsible adulthood.

    Rambone -

If I remember correctly, Romney did not receive Federal bailouts. Bain Capital did. Long after he left and had no control over it. There are two companies that the media love to mesh into one as well (Bain Capital vs Bain Consulting).

I don't have the timeline at hand but I'm sure it's out there. I believe that the "government bailout" line is an Axelrod twist of the truth.
May be nothing to this, but I have to ask. How much money did Romney and others get from Bain before they received the bailout? Doesn't seem right for these companies to pay out $millions to executives and then ask the working people to cover those expenses.

And you know that how? How about Barry's father?

I'm well read. Romney's great grandfather had 12 wives if I recall correctly.
Barry's father was technically a Polygamist too (hey, I forgot about that), making his mother's marriage to him illegal, and thus making him an American citizen, and illegible for the presidency (assuming he wasn't born in the US).
