Never owned a HK but looking for one to add to my carry collection. Tell me which HK you got and why you love it! Thanks. Grabagun.com has a bunch to choose from right now too

The USP I owned was honestly one of the best feeling guns I've handled. It felt high quality, it shot very well.

    Wish I hadn't sold it.

I've got both an H&K USP .45 and a USP .45 Match. As far as reliability, accuracy, and so on it's top drawer, but that doesn't really differentiate it from a lot of other plastic guns. I love my Walther P99, and we all know how many happy Glock and xD owners are out there. :)

Really, for me I just like the blocky aesthetics. That and once you have one you're in the H&K club :rockwoot: :D.

They're all pricey, and they all work great. They do have the unusual trigger-guard mag release, which I love, but some people don't care for. I think a lot of it just comes down to looks and personal style. :):

Let us know what you choose!

Had a USP9, all decked out with the match trigger group and bla bla bla.

    Waste of money.

Lousy trigger. Goofy safety placement. Overpriced mags. Weird cycling/sight tracking characteristics.

    Glad I sold it.

I've been a Sig owner and fan for over 20 years. I have a bunch of them.

I recently bought my first H&K, a P30 9mm V1 (light LEM), and I must way......wow. It's the most ergomonically correct gun I've ever fired. It just feels perfect in the hand. The gun is ambi, and I am lefty, but that wasn't a big selling point for me. After so many years of Sigs, I really don't need the lefty controls. Slide/frame matchup is perfect, feels like a quality firearm. Frankly, feels like a Sig from 20 years ago. I really like the LEM action and have to say, all in all, it is better than Sig's DAK. In V1, it's the closest thing to a DAO that feels like a SAO that you'll ever shoot.

Mags are hard to find and are expensive. Not as many aftermarket accessories as there are for Sig, Glock, etc. But, for being a solid performer, I'm not sure I own a better handgun.

Or you could go for the throat and just grab a H&K P7... they're supposed to be fantastic. I've always wanted to try one and all of the owners swear by them... even if they do appear a little... unconventional.

But be ready to :spend:when its time to buy P7 mags!!

Those things are really nice. They get HOT after any kind of semi-rapid shooting. That gas delayed blowback system dumps alot of heat into the gun. I ran 2 mags through a P7M13 and I couldn't hold onto the thing anymore!

They're really neat guns. A gas delayed, fixed barrel, squeeze cocker. Definitely a very unique piece of engineering.

My opinion***,absolutely love the LEM trigger. Their standard SA/DA blows donkey. The trigger alone, for the price they charge, is a deal breaker. All of them have outstanding reliability, not sure if they are that much more reliable than a glock for the price they charge.

Man those are pretty guns! So what caliber performs the best of their lineup? 9 45 or 40. What is their signature gun and what are they known for?

9,40,45 take your pick. All top shelf.

Signature gun ? USP has been around a long time, P7 unlike anything else ever made. P9S roller lock like HK91 rifle. VP70 FIRST polymer hand gun made! HK45c Navy SEALS use. P series awesome. Hard to pick just one.

Known for ? Military & LE/Gov contracts Where the best gun, not the lowest price is what counts!

I have a P30 and love it. That being said, I love most of my guns. I really like the ergonomics of the grip. It's been very reliable too. No issues for me. They are expensive though. I think it's one of the best looking pistols around IMHO.

I have a P30 in .40 S&W. Feels great in the hand, functions flawlessly, as accurate a shooter as any gun I've ever fired. In spite of other opinions I've read, the trigger is perfect.
