I have two suggestions for you. The first one is Wonderlab (WonderLab Museum of Health, Science, & Technology || Bloomington, Indiana) in Bloomington, and the second one is Holiday World (Holiday World & Splashin' Safari in Santa Claus, Indiana | Holiday World) in Santa Claus.

u... u.... u... want me to go to Bloomington which I hear is just as bad a Chicago! :n00b: :D Thanks will need to look into these as well.

In terms of indoor waterparks the best one I found price wise was Grizzly Jack's Grand Bear Resort at Starved Rock in IL. It's cheaper than the Indy and the Shipsiwaka (??sp??) one. I have a co-worker who goes to the dells (I have never been) and she is going to get some info for me on those. She said that would be the best in terms of stuff/price so we may just end up doing that.

The other indoor parks it would be a 2 to 3 day thing but she told me for the dells it's best to do 4 to 5 days (week) long event. So we will see.

With my little one, hotels in general are a BIG hit. We go downtown every few months to the Embassy Suites and stay over a weekend, just to get away.

They have a pool and free breakfast with pancakes (which makes it A-OK in her book). While we are down there we take a carriage ride around town, walk around in the mall, make a big deal out of a "big girl dinner" with mom and dad. Then come back and let her swim in the pool for an hour or so to wear her out for bedtime.

All in all it works out really well and is a nice weekend to boot.

    My $.02 :)

Look in my signature line for a great site/page that lists each day's events. And, you can also look at other months/dates, too.

Apart from the Indy Zoo and the Children's museum are their other attractions in Indy for little ones (age 5 and 3)?

Did not know ya had a water park.
    Caribbean Cove Indoor Water Park

Anything else? I'm looking at a "mini vacation" in MARCH 2011 and am looking for local stuff (IN or IL area). Would like to stay on the IN side if possible.
