    William F. Buckley Jr. and Milton Friedman both advocated legalization and they are two of the great Republicans. So you just never know.
    Neither of those men would be welcome in the gop today. Hell, even Reagan wouldn't stand a chance with today's goofballs.

    There will be all sorts of ideas of why, but in my opinion, it's because the US Government is the largest drug seller; to finance their black ops. They legalize / decriminalize and that money dries uppity the result of added scrutiny.

    I personally think if the govt wanted to "win" the war on drugs, they could so easily. The problem? They don't want to see it end.

    Bingo. They would loose all that funding and the graft that goes with it. Wake up folks, they have to have this to keep your focus off the other crap they are pulling. JMHO.
