Our BC mix who had to be put down about 5 years ago was the queen of rolling in rabbit . Could not tell you how many times I carried her 40 pound butt into the shower wearing my work pants to keep her from scratching my legs up. Easiest way to get he clean. She would always find the nastiest rabbit poop in the world to roll in. She had a smooth coat (short hair).Long hair should ooze? Is that the draw? My dog was a medium haired mut. He wasn't all that into mud-rolling. But he'd roll in some **** whenever he caught a whiff.
My dogs like to roll in is dead decaying animals she finds. She thinks it smells wonderful and tries to rub it on me as well. She is a flat coated retriever. Basically a black Irish setter.Long hair should ooze? Is that the draw? My dog was a medium haired mut. He wasn't all that into mud-rolling. But he'd roll in some **** whenever he caught a whiff.
That's better than mushy cat or fresh horseOur BC mix who had to be put down about 5 years ago was the queen of rolling in rabbit . Not really, mushy and fresh can be washed out a whole easier than rabbit poop that's started to get a little hard and then ground into the fur. That's better than mushy cat or fresh horse
My experience has been far different. With rabbits, horses, goats, and dogs, I've seen them roll in it all. Some dogs can't cannot resist getting as stinky as they possibly can.Not really, mushy and fresh can be washed out a whole easier than rabbit poop that's started to get a little hard and then ground into the fur.
Been there done that.
Goodness, I’m glad I only have an indoor cat…My experience has been far different. With rabbits, horses, goats, and dogs, I've seen them roll in it all. Some dogs can't cannot resist getting as stinky as they possibly can.
The funny thing is, it is only the indoor dogs that are like that. Our two LGDs, one of which is my avatar, stay pretty much clean with no effort on our part.Goodness, I’m glad I only have an indoor cat…
