When I sent my basses off to be worked on I didn't realize how much I would miss them.

Never played euchre. Dad and his family used to play a game they called pinochle, but it was nothing like what I've heard other people call pinochle.

I think I played pinochle when I was a kid, but I'd have no idea how to do it now. Same with canasta. I know I played a lot of canasta, but I don't remember anything about it except that it used two decks of cards.

Well, what they would do is partner up and there were strict rules as to who could play who because of who trusted who... and then they might not even make it through the deal before it was cursing and busting up furniture...

So whenever I see a fight on tv I say "Ah, they're playing pinochle!"
