Well I just got a pleasant surprise. My boss gave me an "On The Spot" award for the work I did on our audit stuff. I found some errors and got them corrected so that we wouldn't get dinged by the auditors. I guess there will be a monetary component to the award to, that will show up on my next paycheck.

Got done done with last parts of drives at about 5pm.

Time to dig some packed snow of tractor before putting away in heated shop so do t have water all over floor in couple hours.




Tired, ended up going to bed at about 9. Woke between 4-4:30 & couldn’t go back to sleep. Way too early for an old retired fart like me. Had another couple inches before it stopped but not enough to require more drive cleaning. 4* this morning & dogs didn’t stay out long...business done and right back inside.

I'm going to need to go out and clean off the vehicles before the neighbor kid starts doing the drive. Glad I tarped the truck windshield before the ice came.

In eci it's a good day to stay home. I just got home from work and the state roads are mostly ice covered. The county roads are ice covered and drifted. I was impressed that the state guys did such a good job of clearing snow from the state roads. Had I known, I'd have driven the suv and left the old truck at home.
