I 've had those inner ear problems. I bent over at work and did a summersault. My boss took me home. He said he didn't feel like doing any paperwork for an injury. :):

Yup. I almost called to see if I can be on call for cancellations. But I'm at work too much this week.
Of course, when I saw the schedule on Friday, I almost called medical to report myself unfit for work.
    I was :xmad:
6 days, and 3 of them are doubles.
Yet one guy only had 5 days scheduled.

I figured them trying to fill my 9 shifts with only 3 people would be fun. Especially since 2 of them already have 8 shifts scheduled.

And they wonder why people get hurt at work....

    That's about where I am.
I fell over getting out of bed when I woke up and forgot about it.
I've fell over a couple more times.
Almost got clobbered crawling behind a panel at work.

But, I just take it easy.

Our insurance qualifiers are up, let's implement more mandatory safety training! No need to find out what the real cause is....

    Precisely.
A few years back, we had a spike in injuries.
They paid people to retire early.
Bunch of untrained younger workers being overworked.

When I pointed it out, I was told that they could prove it wasn't the hours.
50 percent of the accidents happen while people are on straight time.

So, I listed the people working, and it came out to about 10 percent on overtime (back then).
So.. if 10 percent of the people are involved in 50 percent of the accidents, then they are 5 times more likely to be in an accident.
and that doesn't include the people that worked 2 double shifts in a row, and had an accident on the 3rd day, on straight time.

Then I mentioned that the boss may not want to tangle with me on math/science questions.

Hubby wants to go hunting and the cats are all getting stir crazy. He went out and stoked the fire in the man cave but the two that go out at night are not going to like it when I send them out there tonight.

Little to no sleep again. I have to admit that between the pain, the no eating and this lovely weather my fun meter is about pegged.
