Actually, most companies in my line of work usually do it, if its stupid cold.
Most Gas companies have a temp cut off for putting plastic pipe together ( heat fusion). But they also don't always enforce their own rules

I figured there were limits on that process.

On my side of the bk there were no limitations beyond what we ourselves made.
Mine was lightning. I am not screwing with lightning. I have laid face down on a roof in the driving rain with lightning flying and I do not dig it. Less than fira actually. Fire is on top of the list but lightning can trump fire.

Met some miscreants from a group that exists only in shadow for lunch today at Red Robin for a burger. Fair burger but nothing special.
Get home and the wife and daughter are forming and spicing up some burgers. I casually mention to them that were they aware I was at a burger joint for lunch.
I get the Oh crap look.
So I just had 2 of the best burger and hand cut french fries.
Screw red robin.
