My wife's family comes from an area not far from there. Ever heard of Bowlingtown? My MIL's maiden name is Bowling. The town no longer exists because of the dam that formed Buckhorn Lake.

Up until a couple years ago, one of my wife's uncles still lived on the side of a mountain out there. He had to park his truck at the lodge and take a boat to his property.
