I prefer to use milk chocolate chocolate chips, but sometimes I get lazy and use the chocolate almond bark. The milk chocolate chips taste better but melts in your hands faster too. These are my SIL and Son's favorite "cookie"

thanks, the last time I made them I didn't like the taste of the chocolate. can't remember what I used either.

If you used semi-sweet chips they don't taste near as good.
